Group allocation

When booking, you can choose between 4 or 5 groups. To help you work out which group you belong to, we’ve put together a few pointers here. When you book, we’ll also provide indicative lap times for each group. Please be honest when assessing your ability. If you’re struggling to keep up with your group, simply get in touch with the MotoMonster team – we’re sure to find a solution.

Regrouping

On the first day, during the lunch break and in the evening, the groups will be reorganised based on the lap times recorded. Simply peel off the sticker beneath your starting number and stick the new group sticker over the old one. If there are different times for group allocation – for example, at a 3-day event – you’ll be informed of this at the riders’ briefing.

1. Red Group – Quick

Are you a fast driver with plenty of circuit experience? Then sign up here.

2. Orange Group – Ambitious

Do you already have some experience on the racetrack, but it’s not quite enough to secure a place at the front of the field? Then sign up here.

3. Yellow Group – Normal

You’ve already got some experience on the racetrack, but you don’t think you’re a proper racer yet? Then you should choose yellow.

4. Green Group – Easy

If you’re an experienced motorcyclist but don’t often ride on the racetrack, then you should opt for green. For this group, the instruction sessions for the first three turns of the event are available at half the regular price.

5. Black Group – Beginner

Are you more of a beginner and still need a bit of support? Then the black group is the right one for you. During the first three turns of the event, this group can get the instruction sessions for half the regular price.

Self-assessment

At the start of the training session, you will be given those stickers; these indicate the group you have registered for. These group stickers are valid until the lunch break on the first day of training. After that, you must attach the new group stickers.

Regrouping according to your lap times Day 1 Lunchbreak

During the lunch break on the first day of training, you’ll be given your new group stickers. These are based on the lap times you’ve set. Simply stick this sticker over the old one you received when you registered. After the lunch break, you’ll only be allowed onto the track if you’re wearing these stickers.

Regrouping according to your lap times Day 1 Evening

At the end of the first day of training, from around 7.30 pm, you will be given your final group stickers. These are based on the lap times recorded throughout the entire first day. Simply stick this sticker over the old one you were given during the lunch break. It is now valid for the whole of the second day.
