Procedure

Paddock

Usually the paddock is ready for you to move into the day before. You’ll find the exact opening times and details of which pit you’ve reserved in the event newsletter.

Registration

Once you’ve arrived, you can check in. Here you’ll be given your starting numbers, a group sticker, an AMB transponder for timekeeping, your wristband (if you’ve booked full catering) and the pit keys.

Technical Check

Please come to registration first!
Start by covering all glass surfaces (headlight, indicators) as well as the brake light, so that no shards end up on the track in case you crash. Please stick your starting number and group sticker to the front of your motorbike. The AMB transponder comes with a special mount – which we’ll provide – to be attached to the front fork. Any number plate fitted must be removed! Please carry out this work before the technical inspection. To ensure your safety as much as possible, we’ll check your motorbike. We’ll focus primarily on the brakes, tyres and whether there are any leaks.

Sound Check

Depending on which race track we are at, different noise limits apply. Most have permanently installed measuring stations. In Groß Dölln an on the Spreewaldring, a phon measurement is also carried out. Here, the revs and the dB figure stated on the type plate apply. Anyone who complies with these is permitted to ride.
As a general rule: fit a dB Eater, and the safest option is always the original exhaust system.

Breakfast

There is no life without coffee. Scrambled eggs, fresh bread rolls, muesli, yoghurt and all the trimmings await you after a gentle wake-up call.

Riders Briefing

Mandatory for all participants! Here’s a quick recap of everything you need to know. Immediately afterwards, the riders of the black group will be assigned to their instructors, whilst those in the green group will receive a additional briefing.

Event Start

Let’s get started. There’ll be free riding in 4 or 5 groups (red, orange, yellow, green and black). Ride with enthusiasm but play fair – hooligans aren’t welcome. Anyone who wants to, can ride out with an instructor in any group.

Lunchbreak

Racing makes you hungry. During the lunch break, we’ll provide refreshments for our participants (if you’ve booked full catering).

Regrouping

To ensure the groups are as balanced as possible, we will regroup participants after the lunch break and in the evening. This is done on the basis of the timing results. Therefore, new group stickers will be in use after the lunch break and the following day; these will be displayed on a board next to the registration. Simply take the sticker from under your starting number and cover the old one with the new one.

Dinner

We offer this at all events immediately after the training session ends on Day 1 (except in Most). There are various options available, from a buffet to a BBQ (if you’ve booked full catering).

Instructors

For beginners (green and black group), we’re offering instruction at half the usual price for the first three sessions. However, you can also book one-to-one instruction in the other groups at any time. You can ask to be shown the line or book a video instruction session. In this session, the instructor, equipped with video cameras, will ride a session with you and then review the footage with you afterwards.

You can sign up for individual instruction on the registration.

Safety

To ensure your safety as much as possible, we have marshals on duty who can quickly close the course and assist you if necessary. Normally, we have two ambulances and one or more emergency doctors on site.
