technical check_en

As a general rule, the motorcycle must be in perfect working order.
The tires and brakes are especially important.
Don’t try to wear out old tires on the track. That’s dangerous. Of course, no fluids (oil, water) should be leaking.

Check

Our instructors will perform the technical check before the event—just bring your motorcycle by. If something isn’t quite right, they’ll give you a tip right away or lend a hand.

Mask off glass surfaces

Remove or tape over any glass surfaces (risk of shattering), but mirrors may remain in place. Turn off the lights and deactivate the brake lights or cover them completely with tape.

Remove the license plate

The forces at work on the racetrack are greater than those on the road. It’s no fun to have a lost license plate hit your helmet at high speed. So please remove it during the trainings sessions.

Check for wear parts

On the racetrack, you put a lot more strain on your brakes. So make sure you still have enough brake pads left. A warped brake disc needs to be replaced anyway—it’s better to do it before the event.

Tyres

It doesn’t have to be the most expensive slick for the racetrack, but please make sure you still have enough rubber left on the tyre. A poor-quality tyre is simply no fun on the racetrack and is also dangerous. If you’d like, you’re welcome to buy tyres from us right at the track and have them fitted.
