Oschersleben II 2026

A weekend at the Motorsportarena with dream weather: sunshine and brilliant blue skies. Perfect conditions for giving it plenty of throttle. There were hardly any crashes, but quite a few technical failures – it was surprising how many bikes called it a day on Saturday and ended up parked beside the track. The first day counted as qualifying for Sunday’s races, with a track walk following the race briefing. The atmosphere in the paddock was fantastic, and everyone enjoyed the warm evening.
Sunday brought the sprint races, with packed grids across all classes. This time, SSP even had more entries than Superbikes. SSP was up first.
SSP
Viktor Behrens claimed pole with a 1:32, with Moritz Oschee and Jan Lauckner completing the front row. Oliver Keck, Marius Heitkötter and Johannes Adamidis filled row two, but Olli unfortunately arrived a little too late: the pit lane light was already red, so his grid spot remained empty. The start went smoothly, with no problems despite 30 riders on the grid. Phillipp Heidrich made the biggest gain, charging from 21st to tenth. At the front, things were almost a little too quiet. Viktor took the lead off the line and already had a sizeable advantage over Moritz after the opening lap. Jan Lauckner came through in third, with a substantial gap to second, and Marius in fourth was similarly on his own, with clear track ahead and behind. Unlike most of the field, Johannes had a terrible opening lap and had to fight his way forwards from 12th. Nothing changed at the front: Viktor took the win ahead of Moritz and Jan. A big thank you to Benny for lending Jan a bike! Marius secured fourth ahead of Johannes, who had worked his way up from 12th to fifth. Simon Kosthorst showed that you don’t always need the latest machinery, taking sixth on an RJ05.
Rookies
Matthias Zschiesche lined up on pole alongside Viktor Kämper and Allan Holm. Tanja Lohmann, Adrian Stöcker and Jochen Kloster were ready to attack from the second row. Allan made a spectacularly early jump start, yet Matthias still took the lead off the line, with Allan on his tail. Philip Wischnat made a superb start from eighth and finished the opening lap in third, with Viktor right behind him. Roger Wolff also got away well, climbing from 12th to fifth with Ralle Vahldieck in tow. Matthias held the lead, while Philip passed Allan on lap three to take second. He couldn’t match Matthias’s pace but managed to build a gap over Allan in third. Allan had his hands full, though, with Roger, Viktor and Ralle piling on the pressure. He slipped down the order on the final lap and finished fifth. Roger secured the final podium place, just six hundredths of a second ahead of Ralle, who had to settle for a frustrating fourth.
SBK
Dennis Ahlf was fastest in Superbikes, taking pole with a 1:31.2. Sebastian Basse and Jan Tinschert also had a clear view of the first corner from the front row. Per Behmer, Michael Kaufhold and André Katzwinkel occupied row two. Unfortunately, technical problems meant that neither André nor Jan made it onto the grid. Sebastian took the lead off the line, but Dennis wasted no time getting past and was already a little way clear as he crossed the line at the end of the opening lap. Sebastian held second, with Per and Michael breathing down his neck. Harald Traub also started well and had the trio directly ahead of him. Tina Wang, meanwhile, had a lonely race: the top five were too far ahead, and a sizeable gap quickly opened up to the riders behind her. There were no surprises at the front. Dennis rode a faultless race at a blistering pace to take the win. The battle for the remaining podium places, however, was a thriller. Sebastian kept his nose in front, but Per and Michael were always within striking distance. On the final lap, Per made his move, passing Sebastian to claim second. Michael finished fourth.
After the podium ceremony, there was still plenty of time to put in a few more laps in perfect conditions.
We had a brilliant time with you all and would like to thank every rider, helper and supporter for a fantastic weekend.
