No MotoMonster event is complete without lap timing. We use AMB transponders for this. On site, lap times are used to allocate riders to groups or to determine the starting grid for races. You can view all your lap times in your MotoMonster booking account, but we recommend using our Pitboard app.
You can download the Pitboard app here for free.

Our timing system uses AMB transponders, which are mounted vertically on the front fork. We provide the appropriate mounting brackets, and both the transponder and bracket are supplied free of charge.

Lap Time Monitor

A lap time monitor is available in the registration trailer. It displays your fastest and most recent lap times. All your other lap times are, of course, recorded as well.

Transponders

AMB transponders are used at all circuits. You will receive your transponder when you check in.

Group Allocation Based on Lap Times

To ensure that riders of similar ability are grouped together, groups are reassigned during the lunch break and in the evening of the first training day (except for the blue group). Group allocation is based on the lap times recorded. You can check the monitor beforehand to get an idea of where you stand.

Printing Lap Times

We don’t do that :-)
All your lap times are saved. You can view every individual lap in your MotoMonster account. If you’d like quicker access, you can also find them in our Pitboard app.
